One Coffin (Ludum Dare 28, 2014)
One Coffin is the spiritual succesor to Tinytanic in more ways than one. Like Tinytanic, it was created for Ludum Dare – this time in collaboration with Valentijn Muijrers and his team, which somehow consisted mostly of unfairly talented lads named Bob. Also like Tinytanic, it is more than a little morbid.
One Coffin revolves around a rather mischievous undertaker named Gravy. Gravy is a savvy entrepeneur, and has figured out that maintaining a morgue is an unnecessary burden on his expenses. Instead, for funeral ceremonies, he takes the elevator down to his zombie-infested crypt, and hacks a few of them to bits with his trusty shovel. He then proceeds to combine the right bits into a striking facsimile of the sadly departed. The game is not actually as gruesome as I’ve made it sound here. It is quite challenging, though. Give it a swing.
